Surely, we can face the disadvantages of cooperative learning leaving out its advantages. A lot of less-than-ideal experiments have been conducted, and they are not promising for learning styles theories at all. Bandura is convinced, however, that major gains in vicarious learning come when the observer develops a conscious awareness of the technique involved.
